My name is Benjamin Glendenning. I’m the wearer of many hats; Husband, Father, Son, Brother, friend and an all around smart-ass, but most of all I’m an artist/writer…yep…Since the first moment I picked up a pencil at the age of three…and after I ate the eraser. I drew a bat-mobile and it all clicked.
I was born and raised in Evart, Michigan. Where my dad inspired what would be my lifelong obsession with comics with a steady diet of “Legion of super-heroes”, “Brave and the bold” and “Justice League” digest Comics and along with my own personal obsession with Saturday morning cartoons, influenced my art greatly. I moved to Arizona when I was eleven and delved deeper into comics and pop-culture mediums, passionately honing my artistic skill set and general geek knowledge. In my early high school career I gathered some friends and we ventured into Self-publishing, producing the successful mini-series “Skulljammer”. That experience fueled me to continue and develop a broader range and flexibility in my art. And completely cemented my love for the creation process, both Art and writing.
