Sorry Guys,

I really wanted to keep you all updated with happenings and Art while i was off on my kinda-sorta Writing retreat but Life reared up and bit me on the ole Ass.

The change in air pressure due to Flying over to Arkansas caused a nagging pain I had to become a full out debilitatingly painful medical problem, I spent the initial two days pondering if i really wanted to see a doctor in the middle of nowhere Arkansas and I was there to spend time with my family too so i really didn’t want to be the buzzkill. But come Tuesday I couldn’t take the pain and I went to the Doctor…she had some out there home remedy type of things that actually kinda helped.

Then Friday was my ten year Wedding Anniversary, My father-in law took us out to an authentic backwater steakhouse called “The Chopping block” it’s claim to fame was that Patrick Swayze got really lost and ate there back in ‘93. anyhow the food was great the people were colorful and I learned to love southern style sweet tea.

Needless to say I had maybe all of a few hours to actually be productive. I didn’t get all that i wanted to get done but i did get a lot of solid ideas worked out. All in all it was an adventurous trip that had its ups and downs but was Fun overall…I am so glad to be home and working full force again though!

Interviews?

Yep, a month ago at the totally awesome Phoenix Comicon yours truly was interviewed by quite a few people and a few of those are online now…

First up is my good Friends of The “I have issues” podcast. Thomas Healy and Shaun Kronenfeld are complete opposites and mortal enemies but the one thing they share is a love for comics, So watch them bicker, fight and sometimes trade damaging +2 words of banter as they review comics each and every week, and also deliver top notch creator interviews and even break brand spanking new comic news.

“I have issues” Interview

Then Michael Jung from Suite101.com grilled me about my comic experiences and especially my self-publishing ventures, so Spoiler alert Michael let the cat out of the bag on my next two books “Hellbent” and “Tin Star Tex”. Read, enjoy and don’t worry, I will have the images and news on those projects here on SKULLJAMMER.COM soon!
